  • The Patterson Relative Strength Report, (PRS Report)  is a stock selection service focusing on the strongest stocks that have pulled back on a near-term, and are poised to move up again therefore offering an attractive entry point.
  • Our PRS goal is to achieve gains of 20% to 40% (or more)
over a two to five month period on each stock selection. (this return can be doubled using full margin.)

  • The PRS Report is published monthly and supplemented with weekly Hot Line Updates to keep you abreast of the latest developments with current holdings, positions to be closed, and most importantly, new stock ideas. Both the monthly reports and the weekly hot line updates are emailed to you as soon as they are published.

  • Each Monthly PRS Report contains the following:
    • A performance review of our Model Portfolio which will include at any given time 10 to 15 open positions.
    • A summary of each months entries and exits, plus an updated table showing all PRS Recommendations, called Open Actives Positions.
    • Two or Three "editor's picks with a review of the company, and comments on the stocks price chart from a technical perspective, relative to our entry criteria. I will also point out new entry ideas that look "better" than the rest.
    • Highlight existing "Open Active Positions" that again look attractive for additional investment and ready to move higher.
    • Highlight existing "Open Active Positions" that are under review and are in jeopardy of being removed from the Open Active List.
    • Market Timing Section, which focuses on our Proprietary PRS time plane. The PRS Time Plane tells us how aggressive we should or should not be when putting new cash to work. It also establishes what our near-term expectations are over the next three to six months.

Over time, the PRS Time Plane signals the most opportunistic times to put serious new money to work in the strongest stocks. We expect these major signals, which don't come often, to substantially enhance your overall portfolio return and produce a banner year.
For serious investors the PRS Time Plane is worth far more than the cost of the service and is, in essence, a green light to those occasional periods that generate extraordinary profits (a major signal was given, for instance, in March of 2003, just before a dramatic multi-month run-up).

  • Weekly Hot Line updates are sent on Tuesdays. The Hot Line Updates point out new issues that have reached our entry criteria along with any Open Actives that are looking exceptionally attractive again. The Weekly Hot Line Updates also include Existing Open Active Positions that have reached our exit criteria. Click here for a sample Hotline Update

    • The Hot Line Updates may also include any relevant market related comments and or near-term timing instructions. Everything is kept simple and direct so that trading the recommended positions will be easy.

Our entry and exit criteria are designed to allow the strongest stocks to remain in our portfolio while stocks that weaken and or fail to perform are quickly weeded out. They are replaced with new issues that have shown an ability to out-perform almost all other stocks. The end result is a portfolio of remarkably strong stocks.

Summary: The PRS Report focuses only on winning stocks. We cut our losses and let the winners run. The gains can add up quickly, and over time significant and consistent returns can be achieved
