The main thing to watch is the Red line. When the Red line dips, and the other two stay high. . .my indicators tell us we've got a strong stock that's pulled back and on sale. In August 06 the Red line dipped. This was the first signal to buy PRFT when the stock was at $12.5. Look at it now, 70% higher and there is still a buzz about the stock. The Red line shows the 3-month Patterson Relative Strength Ranking (PRS_3) on a scale of 1 to 100. This is not the stock's return, it is the stock's return relative to all other stocks. A rank of 90 means the stock has outperformed 90% of all other stocks. You want to own stocks with high PRS Rankings because that means the stocks are beating most other stocks. What really drives the market? Big Money drives the market. Yes, they care about what a company does and how well it is run, but the thing they care about most are returns. When a stock is running higher, outperforming most stocks, they have no choice but to chase after it, and that forces it to keep going higher.
